Our aim
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. We haven't yet had the site independently audited, so some issues may remain.
What we've done
- The whole site can be used with a keyboard, with a visible outline showing where you are.
- Animations are switched off if your device is set to reduce motion, and the intro animation plays only once.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Pages use clear headings, labelled forms and plain English.
- Text and buttons are designed to have strong colour contrast.
- The layout adapts to phones, tablets and zoom up to 400%.
Known limitations
- Embedded YouTube videos rely on YouTube's player and may not have captions.
- Some text placed over photographs may have lower contrast against busy parts of an image.
- Donations happen on Crowdfunder's website, which has its own accessibility arrangements.
